Each session focuses on a different topic, and our goal is to empower women by helping them achieve financial stability and homeownership. These events feature guest speakers and women experts from different industries covering budgeting, credit, investing, the homebuying process, home organization, goal setting, and more!

What to expect
The first session of our 2021 Women's Financial Fitness series is "Tax Planning*: New tax laws and strategies for your investments" and features guest speaker Jennifer Glaser, a Tax Partner and CPA with Lavine Lofgren Morris & Engelberg!
In this session, you'll learn about:
- New tax laws and how they will impact you and/or your business
- IRA or Roth IRA – which one is right for you
- How to check your withholding to ensure you don’t end up with an unexpected tax bill
- PPP tax implication updates
- Retired? Strategies to donate and minimize taxes
We'll also have breakout rooms where you can learn more about specific topics that interest you!

Jennifer is a tax partner with 15 years of experience assisting clients with their tax planning and compliance needs. Her client base encompasses many industries, including real estate, professional services, restaurants, and nonprofits. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of San Diego and is a member of the California Society of CPAs and National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA). Outside of her professional endeavors, Jennifer is actively involved in the community, recently serving as the Executive Vice President for the Junior League of San Diego, presiding over their management team.
